armack Fix solder stone is a block designed to simultaneously clean, deoxidize, and tin copper soldering iron tips.
Unlike standard ammonium chloride blocks, this product consists of a mixture of powdered Sn97Cu3 solder alloy and non-hazardous agents formulated to remove oxides and contaminants from soft-soldering tips.
To clean the soldering tip, simply press the hot tip briefly against the stone. The local melting of the block effectively strips the oxide layer from the surface. Upon cooling, the stone returns to its solid state.
The specially balanced composition, enriched with tin and copper and free from hazardous substances, guarantees improved working conditions by eliminating fuming and the release of toxic gases. Using this soldering stone results in significant time and cost savings; compared to traditional sal ammoniac, it substantially reduces tip cleaning time while providing simultaneous tinning, thereby lowering the consumption of auxiliary materials.
