Aluminum welding tape is used to seal pipe joints prior to TIG welding when the pipeline is filled with purging gas. During welding, the welder gradually peels back the tape, preventing gas loss from the inside of the pipe. Aluminum tape is a one-sided adhesive tape with a wide range of applications. It is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions, aging, humidity and temperature. It has very good properties, it is strong, flexible and very easy to use. Ideally masks and seals, and the glue used is very durable. The tape application experience shows that it is resistant in temperature-stable cycles up to 200°C. Maximum instantaneous temperatures occurring during testing of heating devices do not exceed 350°C. The tape easily adapts to the glued surface. The use of siliconized paper as the adhesive separating layer allows simple and quick detachment of a piece of tape from the roll.
