A special brazing alloy in a multi-layer tri-metal strip. armack Ag49MnNi/Cu consists of two layers of silver brazing alloy on a copper core and is widely used for brazing cemented carbide to steel (especially large pieces). The copper core of the strip absorbs and relieves the stresses caused by the difference in thermal expansion between the cemented carbide and the metal, preventing potential cracking. The standard ratio is 1:2:1.
