Tig welding rods AlMg3

AlMg3 is a solid aluminium rod with a content of 3 % Mg. It is recommended for welding of Al-Mg alloys with less than 3 % magnesium. Typically used for corrosion resistance and service at elevated temperatures. Typical applications include chemical storage tanks and automotive components such as wheels and frame sections. The weld metal is resistant to stress corrosion cracking at elevated temperatures, even above 65°C. Not suitable for anodic post-treatment; Mn results in a white to light gray color.
