Brass alloy in bare rods form in accordance to ISO 17672 Cu 470a (CuZn40Si), melting range 890°C - 900°C, working temperature 900°C. It is allowed for use in pipe and tube installations as per DVGW-working leaflet GW 2, only for cold water (pipe material: galvanized steel). In addition, it is also suitable for soldering joints involving steel, malleable cast iron and copper alloys. Special areas of application include soldering joints in the bicycle- and motor cycle industry, as well as pipe and tube structures of all types. It is suitable for soldering joints at an operating temperature of about 300°C. PZH approval.
